How many of the current T#ttenham team would get in our starting line up?
|
Lloris - definately Rose/Davies - bench Kaboul - no where near Vertonghen - yes Dier - bench Capoue - no thanks Chadli - bench Eriksen - yes Lamela - lightweight showpony, bench at best Ryan Mason - struggle to make our bench Adebayor - bench
So I reckon 3 would make our first team and 2 of them are at the back
Been a massive change since they had the likes of Bale, Modric, Defoe, Keane while we were putting up with Kovac, Spector and Carlton Cole starting every game
I think we've not only caught them up but gone ahead of them in terms of squad quality

Kane is so overrated. He has had barely any good games against Premier League opposition. No more than Stanislas had for us

Wouldn't have any, they are tainted. Pretty sure Lloris will be off to a Champions League side soon. Spurs look to be further and further away from being real contenders.

I rate Kane.
He is an annoyingly excellent player.

Which ones Braderz? I can see them signing quite a few in the window, doubt many of these starters will even be playing for them in 2 months

I have to be honest I think a lot of their players will have changed a few people's minds come the end of the season. Potentially they have some talent there.
For me though right now you'd take Lloris and I'd happily have vertonghen Eriksen and kane on the bench.

Lloris, Vertonghen and Eriksen.
These 3 would clearly get in our best 11 for me.
The rest not on current form.

I was shocked when i checked their team out against Palace. So many second and third rate players. Where we have Song, they have a no mark called Mason Where we have Carroll, they have an average Kane The list goes on

I don't think saying we could be better than spurs is having ridiculous expectation levels
They ain't got Bale, Modric, Van der Vaart or Keane anymoe
They now have Capoue, Ryan Mason and Kyle fucking Naughton starting for them

FOMB hasn't covered himself in glory here.
Cant we just enjoy this rarity without having to over analyse or start having ridiculous expectation levels? Who knows where will will end up in the league? Who cares about Spurs' fortunes? Fuck em.
This season has put me in rather a good mood so far, i'm FUCKING ZEN. My colleagues certainly appreciate our upturn in form. Dont ruin it for them you cunts.

Ag vexed, oddly I was just going to reply and thought against it.
I think some people are celebrating 'form' to injury free players and letting it get to their heads...the style of this posting from FOMB is exactly what I hate about Tottenham themselves.

I'll tell you who needs to get a grip
I'll tell you who needs to have a lie down
I'll tell you who needs to stop being EMBARRASING
All you mugs who think Tottenham are a European super club who we can't even dream of finishing above, that's who

When did I say or even suggest that we'd finish 3rd?
We won't have to finish 3rd to finish above them mugs and that is a FACT

You said first choice Ron. Nolan isn't first choice if everyone is fit. Jarvis is lucky to make the squad. On what planet is Lamela better than Downing on this season's form?
